Why the bankers should take a walk

I like Mr Silverman's optimism, or at least his composure in the face of the outrageous, yet predictable developments in the privileged world of big corporations over the past 4-5 years.  In this context, what is truly surprising (and not sure as commendable) - the British public patience and passivity.

The Tories get more than half of their donations from the City.  As they are more and more isolated and more and more a party for the top 1%, they get more and more of their funding from the rich.  Are they going to kill their golden goose?

Mr Osborne confirmed that they are in effect going to continue to force feed the goose.  He rejected regulation on bankers' pay.  And he didn't even bother to come up with a counter-proposal, or a motivation for his choice.
