Cameron urges companies to offer credit

Why are we even talking about this?  Non financial entities do not make loans, let's not get into Cadbury 3 year loans and HSBC lattes.

We shoud be talking about the government's crass failure to pass on to us all the liquidity injected. "Program" after program succumbed to failure.  The government is not only embarassingly ideological, but economically incompetent.

The government policy since the crisis was to bail-out, prop-up and hand in freshly minted cash to banks.  Thus lowered cost of funding enabled the banks to make profits by doing nothing.  This topic should make it to the headlines more often. Why are we, the tax payers, subsidizing the banks by the hundreds of billions, and accept Britain is too poor to build roads or houses?
