I agree with Paul, we need a debate. Why don't we have a fact-based debate?
The two graphs below are telling, they show the maths have not worked out in the past. Low taxes did not reduce the deficit, nor did they generate healthy jobs.
So why should anyone believe Paul Ryan this time?
In any case, we don't need calls for "trust" because leadership is not about faith. This is about credible economic programs. The RR camp need to show the maths. The past demonstrate not only they haven't lived up to low spending - low taxes - low unemployment ideology, but they were utterly unable to bring prosperity and sustainable growth. They actually crippled America and made it all more difficult to act upon what they currently preach.
